Equity Leeds was born from a passion for Property and the excitement that the perfect investment property holds.
Lucie
Mrs Lucie Pritchard BSc Hons
I was born and have always lived in Leeds. I really love this vibrant city and consider it a fabulous City for a rich life and for Property Investment.
Along with my family, I have always had a passion for property. From a very young age, I have been involved in the development of properties from 'ugly ducklings' into Swans, now know as the 'flip'.
I then went to University in Sheffield and in Bordeaux University, France, graduating with a BSc in European Business and IT (having also received a good education in French wines along the way)
In 1993 I bought my first property upon graduation, then began a varied career in property. I managed the financial accounts for many Landlord Investors, focussing effective use of resources and growth while continuing with the family interest in property and developing my own property portfolio, mainly in the renovation of homes to sell on.
I then started with my own BTL properties following renovation, which I find very rewarding.
We have a portfolio of properties including BTL, serviced Airbnb accommodation and commercial properties and still thoroughly enjoy the diversity of experiences within this industry.
In 2019, along with Alix Newton, we established Equity Leeds Ltd. This has provided the most exciting and satisfying experience in this fantastic area of investment, working with fellow investors in the growth of their portfolios, the renovation of properties into stunning spaces, maximising the capital growth of their investments and creating international relationships with some wonderful colleagues.
I feel very passionate about our mission; to offer a hassle free - hands off service, delivering well-managed, high-yielding portfolios and very much look forward to growing happy and prosperous relationships
Alix
Ms Alix Newton BA Hons
Having graduated from Leeds University in 2000 with a degree in Marketing and Media, my career began in Advertising / Marketing and PR in a Leeds Creative Agency called Brilliant Media.
I was head hunted to become a Press Officer for Emmerdale (long term established ITV serial drama). After a year in this role, I was promoted to Senior Publicist by ITV in 2001. As a Senior Publicist I continued to look after the publicity and the talent for several high-profile television programmes made in Yorkshire.
In 2003, I began investing in property, and became a HMO owner. I quickly saw a new passion of property development and bought my next HMO in greater London in 2005.
At this point I took a leap of faith to follow my passion for property and left my job as a TV publicist to go back to my studies and became a Qualified Interior Designer, having studied at the National Design Academy in Nottingham.
My property portfolio grew quickly over the next decade and I now own over £2m worth of assets in the Leeds area, having sold a few along the way to improve the quality of my property portfolio.
I am the Owner of Gravity Design and Property Services LTD est 2006. This company owns a portfolio of houses.
I later set up (in 2011) a now 11 year established Letting & Estate Agent, called Lets Live Leeds LTD, which manages over 450 tenancies in the Leeds area.
In 2019 I established Equity Leeds Ltd with Lucie Pritchard to provide Property Sourcing services to Investors all over the World.
